Up To You:
Howdy friends,
It always amazes me when one person reads the same message as everyone else but get something totally different out of it.
Strange how some receive a word of encouragement but misconstrue it as feelings of melancholy apprehension.
Two words come to mind:
Analyse and scrutinise.
To consider in detail and subject to an analysis in order to discover essential features or meaning.
To look at critically or searchingly, or in minute detail.
Interesting how some go beyond the detail and look between the lines to understand or find an implicit meaning in addition to the obvious one!
Of course, there is always room for private opinion concocted in the human heart.
Still, I guess some are strong on opinions but weak in the faith department.
Personally, I refuse to compromise the Message.
It’s always best to confront people with the Truth.
Even as we look at the state of the world as it really is rather than as we might want it to be.
Admittedly, those rosy days are few.
But every day is a new day.
It’s up to you!
Up to you how you read it.
Up to you how you receive it.
Up to you how you relay it.
O to be sensible and practical!
Without subtlety or evasion.
Clearly evident.
Open.
Sincere.
The way we live is unmistakable.
So, let confidence and hope coincide with every experience that gives shape to how things appear to you.
Let faith ooze profusely o’er reality.
Do not be discouraged.
Rather, as the dawn breaks across the horizon focus anew on Spirit-taught words.
Let the sunrise in your heart.
Let wisdom and richness live in you.
And say, yes!
