LOVE Brings You Home:
Howzit friend,
Due to an inaccessibility issue:
There I was, sitting in my wheelchair in the middle of a ladies changing room in a popular clothing store, when Rachel began to read out aloud.
She spoke words from a poster pinned to the changing room wall:
LIFE takes you to unexpected places.
LOVE brings you home.
My initial thought was:
Tell me about it!!!
But then, momentarily, I was reminded of the story of the lost son.
LIFE took him to an unexpected place.
Yet LOVE brought him home.
I guess, all of us could be familiar with those unexpected places.
Who hasn’t found themselves in a situation which wasn’t planned?
It may happen quickly and without warning.
Then again, life could be kinda like commuting down a gradual, bottomless whorl.
In fact, you could be in an unfortunate place right now.
Well, just remember, while the lost son was still a long way off, his father saw him coming.
Filled with love and compassion, he ran to his son, embraced him, and kissed him.
Oh, what a story, with an amazing response.
And such an extraordinary ability to attract.
You see, the father saw the sorry state of his son and wanted to do something about it.
He would do anything to bring him home.
So, corresponding with this self-examination, take note of the parables mirror-image:
Love is always the answer.
Sure, your heavenly Father’s LOVE brings you home.
That’s fact!
Believe it!
Experience it!
Realign your focus.
Look ahead.
Come now, run home.
Grab your right to enter:
Straight into the arms of Father.
Say, yes!
