We Are Family

We Are Family:

Howdy friends,

This could be an expression of harmony and unity.

Yet the average family spends less time together now than before.

And of course there are many reasons for that.

Consequently there are “some cases” when those families spend less time caring for each other.

There is always the possibility that this “could” lead to the disintegration of individuals and households.

But listen up!

Anyone who neglects to care for family members in need repudiates the faith.

That’s worse than refusing to believe in the first place.

Harsh words, eh?

Sadly, there will always be those who are always right, even when they are proved wrong.

Basically, people are difficult.

There could be a sense of hopelessness.

The resolving of issues.

And the difference of opinions.

Such exasperation!

Although some appear to have a godly life, they will not let its power change them.

Others say that they know God but their actions speak louder than their words.

On the other hand, the spiritual nature produces real love.

And love churns out a harvest exceeding anyone’s wildest dreams.

Yes, that’s right!

If we are followers of Christ, then people should be able to look for and see fruit in our lives.

Therefore, whether it’s our immediate loved ones or an extended social unit.

Whether we are an association of people who share common beliefs or simply a member of the global community.

Remember, we are family.

An irregular people.

Often somewhat odd or strange.

None of us perfect.

But pay close attention to this!

The world of the generous gets larger and larger.

The world of the stingy gets smaller and smaller.

Oh, my!

Just think, the standards we use for others will be applied to us.

Whatever we plant is what we will harvest.

In light of this, whenever we have the opportunity, we should do what is good for everyone.

Treating each other without pretence.

Being the ones who others can rely on in times of need.

Being thoughtful and akin to.

Being that affectionate connection.

Now, as we wake to breathe the dawn let us be ready to give ourselves entirely to each other.

In the growing complexity found in the ordinary course of events.

The rough.

The smooth.

The noise.

And the silence.

Let us remain integral with an adhesive that can not be bought.

Taking time to find out where someone is at and what makes them laugh.

Oh, there’s so much joy being members of God’s big family.

With so much love wrapped in care.

Come-on friends!

Let us care for the well-being of all people.

Say yes!
