Who Found Who?

Who Found Who?:

Howdy precious friends,

Now, this may surprise you, but I did not find God.

God was never lost.

He found me.

Okay, there is some weight behind the words of the old hymn-song:

I found the pearl of greatest price.

But, looking at things more contextually, there is a greater strength and power in the timeless classical anthem:

Amazing grace, how sweet the sound, that saved a wretch like me.

I once was lost, but now I’m found, was blind but now I see.

Listen carefully:

I have never been in a permanent state whereby I’m all out looking for God.

Yet, He is always looking out for me.

Always!

You see, Jesus came to find and restore people who are lost.

And He summed it up quite nicely in the parable of the prodigal.

The father was always looking out for the lost son.

The young son eventually realised his place, and realigned his focus.

Even the older brother received a lesson in perspective.

Come, let us today look at things in a new way.

Remember, in our places of weakness God is very strong.

So, start by finding encouragement in the brokenness:

Wrapped in Father’s love.

Be restored again.

Then, open-up all the windows:

Let everyone see, hear, and know.

Talk freely and without inhibition.

We are found, children of God.

Say yes to Him!
