Purple Surprises

Purple Surprises:

Howdy precious friends,

Personally, if we had a garden full of wild flowers, seriously, that would make my day.

So, simply come with me:

Picture a powerful exhibit of red, orange, yellow, blue and black wispy stemmed poppies:

Accompanying some white foxgloves:

. And, our favourite, delicate bright yellow buttercups.

What a dream!

Yet, envision our surprise when we awoke one morning to find the dawning light shining on some wild flowers.

It seemed a beautiful “meadow” of wild violas had taken over our back garden.

Yep, our lawn was completely covered in rounded, heart shape leaves with five petaled flowers.

Later, even our macho gardener reckoned it was a shame to mow the grass, as the purple flowers looked so pretty.

But, this he chose to do.

Then, almost in a blink of an eye, the impressive display disappeared.

The wild flowers were cut down in a season of prosperity and productivity!

But, hey, ho!

It wasn’t too long before they grew back again.

Returning much stronger.

So much resilience.

Kinda rebounding and springing back.

Nothing was gonna hinder their progress.

Apparently, not even a drought could prevent their growth.

Not that we were in a drought, but that’s what the Internet said.

Anyhow, it looked as if these wild flowers were on a mission:

Creating a majestic carpet across our back lawn.

Okay, we had no wispy stemmed poppies.

Not initially anyway.

We had no foxgloves.

And no delicate buttercups either.

But instead, we were confronted with an amazing imagery of our heavenly Father’s love and daily abundance.

Friends, perhaps you need to get back from an impact right now,

Well, with God’s help, we can resolve that crisis, set-back, or frustration.

Just put your confidence in Him.

Like a young child running to his father:

Such love picks us up.

Such hope lifts us higher.

So, let Him fan into flame your success.

Find life, renewed.

Know this, greater things are yet to come.

Oh, yes.
