Jubilee Transplant Day

Jubilee Transplant Day:

Hello precious friends,

On 1 May 2016, it will be 25 years since David Prince became a Kidney & Pancreas transplant recipient.

The reason for the life-changing surgery was due to long-term diabetes.

His kidney transplant lasted 5 years, but thankfully, he received another organ donation 18 months later,

Amazingly, his pancreas transplant has been doing well since day one.

And, in relation to longevity, his second kidney transplant is continuing to function well too.

Admittedly, it has not always been a smooth sailing experience, but David has grabbed every opportunity that has come his way.

At the time of receiving his transplants, David couldn’t possibly imagine how much of an impact the gifts would have on his life and the lives of those who know him.

Today, having received 25 years with a better quality of life, He would love to encourage everyone to:

1. Thank God for the Gift of Life:

In spite of expectations, life on this earth is vulnerably delicate.

2. Inspire others to think about how best they could help to improve the lives of those around them:

Just anticipate, every act of kindness dispels the shadows in the cloudy days.

3. Invite you, if you have not already, to think about becoming an organ donor:

This is a generous act of self-giving.

Simply spend a little time leading up to, on, or around 1 May 2016 to give careful -consideration to these pointers.

Now, 4. Join us on David’s 25th Jubilee Day by giving thanks for the generosity of donors.

Pray also for the loving families “who are willing” to give a life-changing gift to others:

WHOEVER you are, WHEREVER you are on 1 May 2016, stop, give thanks and consider.

5. Recommend this message to your friends:
