THOUGHT TO PONDER:
Howdy friends,
We all have opinions.
I have opinions.
You probably have your own.
But when we insist on pressing our points of view, instead of drawing people closer we push them away.
Some have the notion that only what they have to say counts.
Others assume because someone well-known or famous holds a particular opinion then it’s acceptable.
For many it’s simply easier to agree with that popular opinion than to have one of their own.
Quite often there are those who want to display to others just how much they know.
They love blabbing to other people about their personal beliefs and how things ought to be but refuse to receive any advice for themselves.
They talk the world’s language and the world eats it up.
Fools care nothing for thoughtful discourse.
All they do is run off at the mouth.
But wait!
Don’t believe everything you hear.
Carefully weigh and examine what people tell you.
Always remember, what comes out of the mouth gets its start in the heart.
Everyone who confesses that Jesus is God’s Son participates continuously in an intimate relationship with God.
Loving God includes loving people.
We must do both.
Just do it!
Receive others into the conversation.
Build-up and encourage.
Say, yes!
