Prayer Support

Prayer Support:

Since 2005, as an extension to our Internet ministry, our hearts desire has been to reach people right where they are.

We believe that one of the ways we are able to do this – is to support each other in prayer.

I’m sure you’ll agree, that in a generation where one could feel so separated – without any others being included or involved – it is vital to know that someone, somewhere, is praying for you.

After-all, in this technical age, it’s so easy to become isolated. So easy to feel alone!

However, as I consider those who show interest in the Newday-Prince ministry, it’s really great to know that out there, in the big wide world, there are honest friendships – sharing a journey of spiritual growth.

And yep, some we’ve never met! Yet, to think, today, we will be praying for each other.

Amazing!

Perhaps one of the best examples is the prayer that the apostle Paul prayed for his friends – found in his letter to the Colossians:

“This is why we keep on talking to God about you since the day we heard about you.

We ask Him that you may know everything He wants you to do.

We ask Him that you may be very wise and that the Spirit will help you to understand.

We ask Him that you will live the way the Lord wants you to live, so that you will please Him in everything you do.

We ask that you will do everything that is good.

We ask that you will see the fruit from what you do.

We ask that you will know more and more about God.”1.

What a prayer!

What a request!

Similar sentiments were shown to his friends in the letter to the Ephesians, when Paul wrote:

“…I ask Him to give you a mind that is wise and will understand about Him.

I ask Him that you may understand these things in your hearts.

I ask Him that you may know what a great hope you have because God has called you.

I ask Him that you may know the rich and great blessings God has promised to His people.”2.

So what drives Rachel and me to stay so focused, so compelled to pray?

Well, just like the apostle Paul, when we hear of Christian friends in different places, with numerous needs in these difficult times – and especially if they are new in the Faith, we deliberately and purposefully pray – that whatever the circumstance, they will know God more and more.

And that’s about it.

And so, the question remains for you today – how best can we pray for you?

Is your request – to know Him more and more?

Maybe it is. But maybe you’re needing a break-through with something specific.

Why not drop us a line to let us know, we would love to hear from you.

And remember, always take time to talk to God.

Put your mind on what you are saying.

And thank God for what He has done.3.

Amen? Amen!
