Comforting Words:
Friends, It’s not always the case that the power of prayer will do away with the set of facts or circumstances that surround the situations we face. But God, the Holy Spirit will change our mind-set to the general state of things; and give us the power to withstand hardship or stress.
But hey! Wait a minute! Don’t give up yet!
Know this; it’s as you pray, the Holy Spirit will shape or influence, give direction to your decisions, comfort you throughout the times of suffering and distress, make you stronger when you have little physical or spiritual strength, pick you up when you’ve virtually abandoned any sense of hope, and, what is more – He’ll never walk out on you!
Sure-enough, you can count on Him!
Yep, that’s right! You can have a trustful relationship with God, and believe in what He promises, regardless of the hard knocks you receive along the way!
God certainly listens to prayers, answers prayers, and moves as a result of your prayers.
Meanwhile, don’t be upset if your prayers aren’t answered in the way you expect. Don’t be distraught!
Remember; Jesus said something like this to His disciples, “I’m leaving you well and whole. That’s my parting gift to you. Peace. I don’t leave you the way you’re used to being left – feeling abandoned, bereft.”
