Stating The Obvious:
Howdy friends,
Sometimes things aren’t quite so obvious until somebody points it out.
For instance, think of the neighbour who is advanced in years living all alone:
Having an invite to your home once in a while for a hearty meal could make a difference to their lives.
It could make a difference to yours too.
Maybe you should give it a go.
Then there’s the person associated with irreparable loss of a loved one:
How about letting them receive a little of your time?
Surely twenty minutes here or there isn’t too much to ask.
Not forgetting the carer who diligently looks after an individual incapacitated by injury or illness:
Ever thought of giving a helping hand?
Both might appreciate a welcome interruption in the intensity of life.
As I’ve already indicated, sometimes things aren’t quite so obvious until somebody points it out.
Friends, it has been said that asking for help reveals strength, not weakness.
Yet, as we look at things from a slightly different perspective, that strength only increases when help is given and accepted!
Whichever way we look at it, it all amounts to stretching out the hand from both giver and recipient.
Wow!
That’s a thought!
And so, I reckon the hidden message to loving is receiving.
Yeah, we’ve hit it on the button!
We give love by first receiving!
We reflect love by coming into possession of it.
Now, where did I first hear that?
Ah, yes!
That’s it!
We love each other due to the phenomenon of heavenly Pa loving us first.
Oh, my!
Still, I guess we need to express a desire to be more loving.
May I restate the obvious:
Perhaps our starting position could begin from residing face-to-face with Pa as His affectionately loved kids.
Hey, since we are kids who He loves so much, we could imitate Pa.
How exciting is that!!
Serious fun!
Come on!
Only remember, our heavenly Pa’s love is friendly and open to all.
So, let’s capture the attention and imagination of His love.
Just grab His love.
Let’s give evidence of the quality of His love.
Simply give from His love.
And let our love be a response to His awesomeness.
Grow more and more in His love.
Then, pursue a positive and satisfying existence.
Show a tender, considerate and helpful nature to everyone.
Say, yes!
