Big Botheration:
Howdy,
Have you ever been in a psychological state of being irritated or annoyed?
I bet you have.
No?
Oh, come-on!
Surely you have, at some time or another.
Or maybe, just maybe I’ve read you wrong.
I know, you’re unexcitable and undeviating.
Yep, that’s it!
You’re fixed:
Seemingly, beefed up:
Not subject to change:
Persistent in occurrence and unvarying in nature:
Not liable to fluctuate:
Still, one thing is certain, you haven’t got the readiness to embark on bold new ventures.
After-all, why should you?
What’s more, you’re probably lacking the ability to deal resourcefully with unusual problems.
In fact, one could monitor the tea breaks by your pattern of behaviour acquired through frequent repetition.
You constantly arrive and leave, “religiously” going to and fro.
Not that you ever venture far.
You aren’t particularly great with social interaction and entertainment either.
Well, does that sound familiar?
Like the prodigals big brother, you refuse to join the big banquet.
But wait!
Listen up!
Look at what’s going on from the Fathers perspective.
Look around you.
Look further a field.
When you grasp how Father works, don’t be like the big brother.
Don’t kick-up a big stink!
Instead, create a hearty feast from the fatted calf.
Turn up at the party with genuine enthusiasm.
Break open the Iron Brew.
Revel in the good things that are happening.
Just know it’s far better than looking green-eyed, analysing the lives of others, and habitually complaining!
Now, don’t be sanctimonious!
Don’t become fearful of being displaced by another!
Don’t be pompous!
Don’t miss out!
Remember, all that the Father has is yours – so, simply experience and know His love and affection for yourself.
Let the “relationship” grow.
Embrace the prodigal.
Say, yes!
