A Holy Kudos!:
A THOUGHT TO PONDER:
Howdy friend,
In recent times, a baseball fan watching his team play in a Midwestern state made an epic catch that earned him a round of applause from the crowd.
The man came to the rescue after a batter took a swing at a ball and lost control of his bat, sending it flying 120 feet into the crowd.
The bat was on course to take out the woman stood next to him, if it wasn’t for his calm, yet lightning-fast reflexes, which enabled him to snatch the bat out of mid-air.
As fans in the stadium cheered his efforts, the man pointed to a glass of beer in his right hand, revealing that he was holding a drink all along – and didn’t spill a drop.
His wife, who was stood next to him and could have taken the full force of the bat in her face, turned to her husband and landed a huge kiss on his cheek.1.
Oh, my!
What a catch!
What a cheer!
What a kiss!
I wonder, can you remember the last time you received an expression of approval for some cool act?
Can you recall that last compliment?
And what about that note of praise?
Perhaps that something cool had gone unnoticed by others.
Maybe it was just one of those things.
Sometimes we are more concerned about what the crowd think of us rather than about what God thinks of us.
But I have news for you!
God, our heavenly Father is a hero who saves us.
He happily rejoices over us, renews us with his love, and celebrates over us with shouts of joy.
Just consider this:
Our Father has given us His love.
He loves us so much that we are actually called His dear children.
Sure-enough, that’s what we are.
And since we are His children, we are His heirs.
In fact, together with Christ we are heirs of God’s glory.
This is no momentarily testimonial!
We receive this inheritance forever.
How cool is that!
A holy kudos:
An applause from heaven:
Decided irrevocably with a huge kiss:
Oh, how our Father adores us.
Over and over again.
Say, yes!
