Just The Right Time:
Precious friend,
Rachel and I live some distance from our family.
Even so, on average, some of our relatives journey to visit us once a month.
A couple of them travel nearly two hundred miles.
Still, no matter the distance, they always seem to appear just at the right time.
Admittedly, it may not be exactly every four weeks, sometimes it could be every five.
But whenever they arrive, they come right on time.
And this is a little like our heavenly Pa.
He hears our call in the nick of time.
The moment we need Him, He is there to help.
He always turns up at just the right time.
Sure, one of the most reassuring thoughts for us as followers of Christ, is the knowledge that our heavenly pa’s timing is perfect.
Even though what happens to us may seem almost impossible to cope with, we have the certainty that our heavenly Pa will step-in to equip us for the way ahead.
He is never too late!
He is never too soon!
You see, He knows, and cares about every aspect of our lives.
He understands every distinct feature in our circumstances!
Yet, it’s amazing how impatient we can be.
Occasionally, we are restless or short of temper.
We are often in a rush when our heavenly Pa is not!
But, travelling with Him creates some awesome possibilities as He is the One who finds paths through unexplored territory.
Just remember, our heavenly Pa works in the pause during which activities are diminished.
The bigger things He has long declared are really worth looking forward to.
But in the time-lag, we need to learn to take hold of every opportunity.
Everything that comes down our road sets us up for the way ahead.
Only, we must stay away from the route lacking in length to Pa’s intended one!
There’s no short-cuts here!
So, do not be deceived by something that resembles reality.
Do not become worried and uneasy!
Do not force the position in which you find yourself!
Instead, be around the authentic – which comes from the loving hand of Pa.
Such relationship helps us to grow.
Simply trust Him.
If there is something you have been looking for:
Something you have been seriously calling for:
Something you have been planning for:
Something you have been expecting:
And this has occurred for a prolonged period of time:
But it has not materialised yet:
This does not signify all hope is lost!
Rather, every detail in our lives of love for Pa is worked into something good.
Friend, never forget, His timing is perfect:
Always, and forever.
For this reason, hold-on there:
In His grip, say, yes!
