Head Over Heels:
The fool says in his heart, “God does not exist.”
Others query, “If there is a God, and He’s so good, how come He’s so nasty?”
Some exclaim, “He’s a monster!”
Bottom-line, they search blindly in the dark.
But wait!
Listen up!
God does not find pleasure in imposing pain.
He’s not-all out to get even.
Not all-out to pay-back!
Not all-out to get vengeance!
Not all-out to eradicate!
Unlike Old Nick, who is holding out a false hope that things might go his way.
So, hear with intention!
Just consider this:
Often, discipline can be a painful way of healing, bringing freedom from the things that immobilise us.
And, of course, many of our difficulties could be self-inflicted.
We can bring many of our toughies on ourselves, albeit inadvertently.
Yet, even though those circumstances may seem unbearable, we have the assurance that our heavenly Father will step in.
Know this, despite the fact that God rescues us through the “greatest act” of suffering, that doesn’t mean He inflicts it on us.
Rather, at the heart of our Christian faith we discover a love story.
Yes, that’s right!
The central message of the story reveals the love initiative of God, our Father, and how he loves His children.
This sacrificial love bought our freedom.
Oh, how He loves us so!
In fact, He’s head over heels in love with us.
High as a kite!
This calls for our total attention.
Here we see the wide open arms of Father reaching to embrace us.
Sure, here we find a relationship that’s accessible to all.
So, come.
Admit the existence and reality of God, as your loving Father.
Simply, let your heart be flooded with love.
Now, say yes!
