Sons And Daughters:
Precious friends,
Life, at times, may seem pointless.
For some, we could be seen as worthless.
Sometimes, we’re not even given sympathetic understanding.
Not taken seriously.
Not given the time of day.
Sadly, lack of recognition could destroy ones passion.
But hey, ho! Picture this:
Life, for us, can be adventurously expectant.
Remember, long before God laid down earth’s foundations, He had us in mind, had settled on us as the focus of His love.
Long, long ago He decided to adopt us into His family.
Today, we can experience the marvellous love the Father has extended to us!
Just look at it – we’re called children of God!
That’s who we really are:
Sons and daughters of the Father of love.
Could this be why the world doesn’t recognize us?
Could this be why it doesn’t take us seriously?
Sure-enough, it has no idea who He is or what He’s up to.
But guess what!
He is the God of circumstance.
He helps us to override the “out of the blue” challenges and disappointments.
Admittedly, in our own strength, we are limited.
We can easily be discouraged.
And even refuse to accept our potential.
But listen up!!
God has better plans for us.
Nothing is too big for Him.
Nothing too small, either.
So, embrace the power of His love!
Receive His acceptance.
Know His approval.
Use His identity as your own.
How awesome is that!
Oh yes!
It’s the opinion of Father that counts.
In His eyes, we matter.
Come on!
Simply be:
Sons and daughters.
