Centre Of The Universe:
Howdy,
Whether it’s through social media, or the sheer mentality of people today, it amazes me how many people just love to promote themselves.
So often in life, many of us chase after approval, credit, endorsements, and so on.
Sure, I suppose we’ve all been there:
We need to feel wanted.
We need to feel received and accepted.
We need people to like us.
Some of us think that everything revolves around us.
There’s no doubt, the shift from self-centre to God-centre can be the most difficult position to endure.
Still, it seems to me, if God, our heavenly Papa is the centre, everything changes.
Everything!
Instead of just existing to promote ourselves – we live to promote Him.
That is, we endeavour to do what He requires – rather than what we want.
It’s not about the size of our platform, or the brightness of the spotlights.
It’s not about the mega turnout at some event, or the popularity of our ministry.
It’s not about our qualities being recognized, or supporters joining our fan club.
It’s much deeper than that!
You see, it’s not about us.
It’s not about you and me.
It’s about Him.
So, listen up!
Papa is the centre of the universe.
But hey, ho!
Never forget:
We are the centre of His love.
We are His children.
Beat that!
