Listen Up:
Howdy friends,
How are you travelling?
Are you having a bumpy ride?
Or feeling road-tested inside and out?
On the other hand, maybe you’re looking for the next adventure.
Well, consider this:
As we keep company with our heavenly Papa, if we ask Him, He will tell us some remarkable secrets about what is going to happen.
Sure-enough, throughout our journey we may have a series of questions.
Still, guess what?
Papa has all the answers.
We just don’t always get to know them.
Not in the time-period we expect them.
You see, the accepted way of praying and waiting for a solution can be one of the most frustrating learning curves.
True, some of us have strong feelings of anxiety.
Others worry unnecessarily or excessively.
Often, we live in a gloomy semidarkness because we haven’t found a solution to our restlessness.
Sadly, for some, that’s how life goes.
But know this, Papa answers all prayer.
Sometimes, we just can’t make out the reply.
Other times, we are far too impatient!
On certain occasions we’re, well, simply oblivious.
Just remember, Papa is mega.
He can use anyone and anything to talk with His kids.
Think about it.
Imagine the skies.
Picture the brilliancy of Papas airbrushed creation.
He speaks through the morning dew – catching the first rays of sun.
He can sound through thunder, rumbling, rolling thunder.
And He can dapple a meadow in an orange, purple and crimson flower.
He can blaze away through the mid-summer sun.
He can finger-paint white crystals of frozen water covering the ground.
And yes, He can use language within the symphony of a dawn chorus.
Including the hackles from a young cockerel!
A congruity of sound and colour.
Yet, frequently, He uses a much more delicate way.
Instead of being noisy with dominant tones or loud shouts, He speaks softly.
And His timing is perfect.
Even though the things that happen to us may seem impossible to work out, there is no doubt that Papa will step in with the solution.
And not a second too soon!
So, come-on kids.
Pause where you are.
Step out of the traffic.
Listen up!
Quiet down before Papa.
Be prayerful before him.
Hear His whisper, prompting and prodding from “deep within.
Trust Him!
Simples!
