Back To Back

Back To Back:

ENCOURAGING MESSAGE:

Howdy friends,

As you may know, we normally publish an encouraging message one week after the other.

However, you’ve probably noticed that we missed sharing last weeks E-word Communicator.

Our reason?

Because we’ve just returned after having a break-away with family – celebrating Rachel’s special birthday.

Only the week before, it was also my birthday.

And in the same time period we had three other family birthdays to think about.

Funny how things fall in a consecutive manner.

One event following the other.

Back to back.

An interesting phrase that.

“Back to back.”

Think about it.

On the first hand we’re facing in opposite directions.

in the next hand, everything is coming one after the other!

And yes, life can be like that.

Things can happen in an uninterrupted way.

At times, it can be quite daunting.

Somewhat intimidating.

Or even very discouraging.

But hey!

Listen up!

One traveller standing alone can be set upon and beaten.

But two can stand “back to back” and successfully defy the imminent danger.

You see, by ourselves we’re unprotected.

With a friend we can face the worst. .

If one of us are vulnerable to attack, together, we can drive the attacker away.

And this is my point for this week:

If the companionship of two is appreciated, surely, stronger is the case when even more pull together.

So, do not implode!

Instead, hang on friend!

Pause where you are!

Stick around!

Our union is strength.

Our fusion is love.

Come then, simply remember this observation:

If we integrate like a three-stranded cord, we will not quickly snap!

But if we untwist the cord, the separate threads will easily “break.

In other words, having a friend is good, having more friends is better.

And what a friend we have in Jesus.

He walks the road of life with us.

Sure-enough, we journey together.

He is the third strand in the cord.

And with His help we can achieve the extraordinary.

We can make it through anything in the One who makes us who we are.

Just keep in mind, it’s all about connection.

So, are we in agreement?

Unbeaten?

Unconquered?

Undefeated?

Let the answer be yes!!
