In our journey of faith, everyone of us needs a friend who will spend time with us – to provide advice, prayerful support, and encouragement.
Undoubtedly, there could be times when we will particularly need trusted friends who have keen insight and good judgment in every aspect of life.
Remember, in the same way that iron sharpens iron, a person sharpens the character of his friend.
I’m sure you’ll agree, everyone of us have been strengthened over the years by warm-hearted people who have taken the time to invest their lives in us.
And even today, we continue to receive such inspiration as we journey with people who sharpen our lives.
Only, keep in mind, we must always be ready and willing to be taught.
Nothing beats displaying a love to learn, and passing it on.
But, for some, we find it hard to express our gratitude.
With others, the appreciation comes more easily.
Yet, in time, each of us could become a mentor-friend to someone.
Wow!
What an applicative idea!
Still, consider this, if we’ve never ever spoken life into someone, we could never expect them to accept the words that point out their real weaknesses!
So, go on!
Share a “life” sentence:
Get word.
Speak words of life.
Get a line.
Voice with enthusiasm.
Be an energiser.
And sharpen the character of someone today..
