Right Honourable Stuff:
So, they reckon – the total contentment of being a happy, healthy and a prosperous nation is connected straight to its governing authority.
Yes, that’s about it!
It’s widely accepted, that when political leaders show justice determined by reason, pay close attention to the voice of conscience – and express a natural sense of what is fair to all – by making good decisions – then the state of the people within that nation will assume a certain condition that’s free from fear and doubt.
But when those leaders are unfair, lack honour, have a deficiency in integrity, make bad judgments on account of hazy conclusions – then the nation will inevitably decline.
You see, when leaders serve their own ambitions, desires and schedules rather than the populace good – then the nation will deteriorate.
This is why the Bible instructs us in the Christian faith to pray every way we know how, for everyone we know.
We should pray especially for rulers and their governments to rule well so we can be quietly about our business of living simply, in humble contemplation.
Oh-yes, there is a real profit, of course, but it comes only to those who live contentedly as God would have us live.
Now listen, living according to God’s instructions makes a nation great.
This is the way our Saviour God wants us to live.
So, let us chase after truthfulness, faithfulness, righteousness, and fairness.
Let’s pray that every nation worldwide will begin to see a new kind of servant-hearted leader, crafted in accordance to the standard set out in God’s Word.
Let’s pray that each leader may improve their serve.
And this applies to us as well.
The quality of being just and fair, the right actions, and right attitudes should also be seen in us.
For-sure, the prayer of a person living right with God is something powerful to be reckoned with.
Now consider this, our heavenly Papa wants us to share His love with other people.
He wants us to share a love which is beyond calculation or measure – and that becomes more extreme than loving just those who we like better – value more highly and linger or mill-about with!
Remember, Jesus had no political influence and only had a small group of friends.
He had no wealth or property.
In realistic terms, it appeared that our Saviour’s life and accomplishment was a complete flop from every point of view except His Father’s.
Yet, on the contrary, Jesus was the most outstanding servant who ever lived.
Seemingly without interruption, He loved other people and put their state of extreme poverty and destitution before His own.
What an achievement!
Far beyond the norm!
Sure-enough, He came to show us a new way of living.
He came to set our lives right, put us together, and complete our lives with joy.
He came to set us free to live a free life.
He came to give life with joy and abundance.
His intention for us was to be quietly about our business of living simply.
And like Father, like Son, He put us first!
Even today, God’s incomputable love for us is an extraordinary love.
So as we let His love saturate us, we can love people with that same kind of love.
A servant-hearted love.
A people-zoomed-in love.
A love that doesn’t try to take, but willingly gives.
Now, that’s right honourable stuff:
Living absolutely above-board – not only in the sight of God but in the eyes of men.
Truthful, faithful, righteous and fair.
Finally, try to understand this, while giving oneself entirely to a specific nation, person, activity, or cause – love succeeds 100% of the time.
Every time!
As for now, well, it’s time to care for , and understand others.
Sorted!
