Graci-onic Man:
Referring to the American science fiction television series from the 1970’s, let’s step-back for a moment and recall the theme tune of the Six Million Dollar Man.
Now, with tongue in cheek, just imagine the opening sequence:
David Prince, Communicator – a man barely alive.
Gentlemen, we can rebuild him.
We have the technology.
We have the capability to make the worlds first graci-onic man.1.
David Prince will be that man.
Better than he was before.
Better. Stronger. Faster.
Now friend, replace my name with yours, and read it again.
Then, as we enter a more serious note, consider this:
Despite our present-time difficulties, we can all discover a beautiful state of inner peace through the power of Jesus residing in us.
What a thought!
It stands to reason, doesn’t it, that if the alive-and-present God who raised Jesus from the dead moves into our lives, He’ll do the same thing in us that He did in Jesus, bringing us alive to Himself?
When God lives and breathes in us (and He does, as surely as He did in Jesus), we are delivered from that dead life.
With His Spirit living in us, our bodies will be as alive as Christ’s!
In light of this, let us believe, and be affirmative!
He is our life-giving power and strength.
What a gift!
And to think, grace – of so extreme a degree and extent – empowers and enfranchises us like never before – bringing favour to each new day!
Oh yes!
For in Christ, we have the capability.
Sure-enough, whatever we have, wherever we are, we can make it through anything in the One who makes us who we are.
So, expect the best.
Simply grow in grace and in the true knowledge of our Lord and Savior, Jesus.
Say yes!
