Prince Of Muppets:
In all likelihood, the nearest my family have ever been to adopting a title of “Prince” – is working as a court jester in the service of King Louis XVI of France.
And incidentally, as a term of endearment, my precious wife often calls me “Mr Frog” – but it’s nothing to do with the french connection!
Without much doubt, it’s more to do with “whom” my extremities look like!
Believe me, “it’s not that easy being green!”
Anyhow, often we can allow titles and names to determine our identity.
Inadvertently, we can also allow others to shape or influence us.
Many have their own agenda – spread in a hidden or elusive way!
But listen up!
Rather, let’s thank God for the knowledge of who we are in Him:
Sons and daughters of the Father of love.
Made to experience life in all its fullness.
Swamped in potential!
Radically distinctive and without equal.
Crowned with love.
Boy, this is too much, too wonderful – I can’t take it all in!
Still, come-on friends!
Accept, and appreciate who you are.
Live in harmony with your God-inspired reflection.
Don’t be a motley fool just for the sake of being some celebrity muppet!
Don’t be someone else!
And don’t let others pigeon-hole you either!
Instead, wake-up, and smell the coffee!
And as you do so, listen to His plan.
Walk His path.
Find-out, and experience His purpose for your life.
Now, perhaps it’s time to willingly receive His direction, and relinquish your days to His management.
Let your own hopes and dreams for the future be focused in Him.
Oh-yes!
Be authentic!
Nothing less!
Just recognise the truth of who you are mirrored in Him!
Then be blessed!
