Personal Guide:
Ever been left in the dark?
Unsure where to go?
Don’t panic!
Stay cool!
God offers support for us – but to receive His direction we must spend time with Him.
1, Stop & Think:
Nothing beats a brief stay in the course of a journey.
A quiet time gives us room to gradually and progressively receive instruction – setting right and putting some things straight.
As we apply this in our lives, we will develop a change of state – being enhanced and empowered for the road ahead.
In reality, God has given us plenty of time and space for living so we can seek after Him, and not just grope around in the dark but actually find Him.
He doesn’t play hide-and-seek with us.
He’s not remote – He’s near.
As we know and comprehend this – we can move forward.
2, Orientate & Proceed:
Simply be conscious of this, God takes the hand of those who don’t know the way, who can’t see where they’re going.
He is a personal guide, directing us through unknown country.
He is right there to show us what roads to take, making sure we don’t fall into the ditch.
These are the things He does for us – sticking with us, not leaving us for a minute.
Sure-enough, we don’t have to grope around in the dark, hoping to stumble upon answers.
Instead, He takes us by the hand- and leads us down the path of truth.
Hence, once we’ve checked our course – we can move ahead.
As we take these few steps – we discover in God – our assurance, our confidence and hope.
Now, that’s indescribably awesome!
So, Stop, Think, Orientate and Proceed.
But hang-on a moment!
Listen!
Just another point:
3, Thank God For His Empowering Presence:
For anyone out there who “still” doesn’t know where they’re going, anyone groping in the dark, here’s what: Trust in God.
Then, enjoy being friends with Him, 24/7.
He’s the one who will keep you on track.
