Business Of Blessing:
When we pay one tenth, it means to pay tithes on what we produce from a crop or one’s harvest, not just from one’s income.
But surely, there’s more to this than percentage!
Remember this, the farmer who plants a few seeds will have a very small harvest.
But the farmer who plants because he has received God’s blessings will receive a harvest of God’s blessings in return.
As we begin to understand this clearly, we see that we’re to plant seeds with generosity.
Moreover, we’re to give cheerfully!
But wait! Each of us should give whatever we have decided.
We shouldn’t be sorry that we gave or feel forced to give, since God loves a cheerful giver.
Yet, know this, the best thing we can give is love!
Yeah, that’s right!
More than anything else, we must plant seeds of love!
Thus, let’s cheerfully love others – rather than having an obligation or duty.
Don’t forget, we must love others as well as we love ourselves!
Now, consider this, our heavenly Father’s love is equivalent to a down-payment into our personal lives, that never expires!
The balance has been given – and made anew every morning!
His love is never limited.
Sure-enough, He’s in the business of blessing!
So, let’s see the interest grow!
As we give, we will receive.
A large quantity, pressed together, shaken down, and running over will be put into our pockets.
The standards we use for others will be applied to us.
For-sure, whatever we plant is what we’ll harvest!
So, let’s willingly give.
Invest in love.
And yes, buy into the business of blessing.
