The Father’s Heart.

The Father’s Heart:

Quoting from the Message paraphrase version of the Bible; we see that James, the brother of Jesus said:

Reach out to the homeless and loveless in their plight, and guard against corruption from the godless world.

Friends, without doubt or question; this was true of Jesus, who made visible through His ministry “the Father’s heart.”

Jesus Christ came and communicated to us the complete picture of who God is.

He didn’t hide anything from us.

Yes, in Jesus, we see the abundance of our Father!

Now it is up to us to carry on with what Jesus has done:

And, like Paul in his letter to the Ephesians; we ask the God of our Master, Jesus Christ, the God of glory – to make us intelligent and discerning in knowing Him personally, our eyes focused and clear, so that we can see exactly what it is He is calling us to do.

For this reason; we pray that we may have the ability to see the needs of folks, in an easily perceptible manner, and a heart to act positively – so that His love may be seen through us.

Having a behaviour that displays a compassionate quality that understands the suffering of other folks, and wanting to do something about it.

Attending to anything that is necessary but lacking.

Providing tender loving care, protection, provision and warmth.

Fathering the orphans.

Looking after widows.

Finding families for the lonely.

Equipping homes for the homeless.

Leading the unfree to liberty and joy – the vulnerable to safety and peace.

This, our friends, is the Father heart of God.

If you know God’s Son, you’ll know His heart!
